Medical Massage Therapy

We are proud to serve our veterans by offering specialized medical massage therapy. Recognizing a real need for this service, we decided to integrate massage therapy into our clinic’s offerings. Serving veterans is a priority for our team, inspired by the experiences of Nerea, one of our co-owners, whose father is a Vietnam veteran. Growing up within the military system instilled a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by veterans, and we are honored to provide a service that supports their physical and emotional well-being.

Our medical massage therapy combines evidence-based techniques and personalized care to address chronic pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being. This service goes beyond relaxation; it’s a therapeutic intervention designed to restore function and alleviate discomfort.

Modalities Offered

Our medical massage therapy includes a range of techniques and modalities:

  • Deep Tissue Massage: Targets deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to relieve chronic pain and tension.

  • Trigger Point Therapy: Addresses specific areas of muscle knots to reduce pain and restore movement.

  • Myofascial Release: Gently stretches and mobilizes the fascia to relieve tightness and improve flexibility.

  • Cupping Therapy: Utilizes suction to promote circulation, reduce muscle tension, and encourage healing.

  • Gua-Sha (Scraping): A traditional technique using smooth tools to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and alleviate tightness.

  • Heat Therapy: Includes the application of infrared or heated stones to relax muscles and enhance blood flow.

  • Stretching: Assists in improving range of motion and alleviating stiffness.

  • Education: Provides insights into self-care techniques and lifestyle adjustments to maintain progress and prevent re-injury.
